GETTING THERE

Situated within the Al Zorah nature reserve, by the seaside, you can travel along the waterfront connecting the two emirates to reach the resort and enjoy a scenic drive during your journey.
If you are coming from farther locations such as Ras Al Khaimah or the new Dubai, it is recommended to take the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and exit at the Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club towards Ajman. This route will lead you directly to the city after a few kilometers, leaving you just minutes away from the hotel.
For travelers coming from abroad, the hotel can also arrange transfers from the country’s international airports. Dubai Airport is a mere 20 minutes away from the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah.
Al Zorah is situated on a natural peninsula, flanked to the east by one of the region’s most precious natural mangroves, a rich biodiversity area, and bordered on the other side by 12 kilometers of coastline and a 1.6-kilometer-long white sandy beach.

The site’s undisturbed ecosystem is home to a diverse population of marine life, migratory birds, flamingos, and indigenous plants that are protected.
One of Al Zorah’s attractions is the 2-square-kilometer saltwater lagoon, biologically and ecologically rich wetlands. The lagoon is surrounded by a lush mangrove forest covering an area of 2 million square meters and hosts over 58 bird species year-round. With its mangroves and lagoons, the site is one of the most attractive developments on the Gulf Peninsula.
After a 4-kilometer drive from the main entrance of Al Zorah, you will arrive at the doors of the Oberoi.
Upon entering the main building, where the reception is located, you will be struck by the serenity that pervades the atmosphere.
Here, there is no oversized lobby or standing registration process at the counter.
The lobby of the Oberoi is cozy, intimate, and warm. It reflects the overall image of refined and unpretentious luxury characteristic of the brand and property.
Comfortably seated in armchairs, you will receive your room keys after the customary procedures.
The resort is organized into three buildings housing the reception and suites, facing the pool and the sea, along with a collection of luxurious beachfront villas. The buildings housing the rooms are no more than 4 stories high and blend seamlessly into the surrounding environment.

The resort is of a manageable size and offers a total of 113 rooms, divided between suites and villas, ensuring guests precious privacy.
Inside the accommodations, vibrant colors, ample light, natural materials, and an open view of the beach and sea set the tone.
The smallest room at the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah, the premium suite, covers a staggering 80 square meters, far exceeding typical hotel standards. Inside, you will find all the space and comfort needed for a pleasant stay..
The rooms are decorated in a modern ambiance with a dominant monochromatic shade that creates a beautiful effect. Art objects, paintings, and contemporary furniture complement the overall well-executed atmosphere.
The multimedia connectivity in the rooms is comprehensive, and technology enthusiasts will be delighted to easily connect all their devices thanks to the smart TVs and the multimedia station available to guests.
The bathrooms all feature a shower and bathtub, and the rooms on the top floor or in the villas offer an outdoor shower, reminiscent of resorts in South Asia.
Each room comes with standard amenities such as an espresso machine, a minibar, and a tea service.
The 1, 2, and 3-bedroom villas are equally luxurious, ranging from 210 to 340 square meters, which would rival the most upscale residences in Dubai’s neighborhoods.
Each villa has its own private temperature-controlled pool, measuring either 7 or 12 meters in length, for those who prefer to refresh themselves directly from their residence. Villa residents also have direct access to the beach.

The Oberoi Spa has 8 treatment rooms and 2 hammams offering world-renowned Ayurvedic treatments. All treatment rooms offer indoor and outdoor spa facilities.
We tried the 60-minute signature massage at the hotel’s spa. A true sensory pleasure delivered expertly by a highly qualified therapist.
Yoga and meditation sessions are also available early in the morning at the fitness center.
The fitness center is open 24/7 and is located in the hotel’s gardens. For those who enjoy running, there is also a 5-kilometer jogging track nearby.
The highlight of the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah is undoubtedly its extravagantly long pool. The 85-meter-long infinity pool is integrated into the garden. Chairs, umbrellas, and beach towels are available for guests both at the pool and on the beach.
The pool staff will provide you with refreshing flavored water ice creams, water bottles, and misters to keep you cool when you are out of the water.
For the younger guests, the kids’ club has 2 small pools, one outdoors and one indoors, a playground, and Xbox consoles to keep the children occupied during the day.
GOLF AT oberoi al zorah
The hotel has partnered with the renowned and brand-new Al Zorah Golf Course, located just a few meters away. The Al Zorah course is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful golf courses in the region.
Nestled amidst the mangroves, water is a constant presence throughout the course. It’s surrounded by approximately one million square meters of mangroves, presenting a unique challenge for players as the tides transform the course with each season.
Al Zorah is a world-class course specially designed by the renowned Nicklaus Design group. The spectacular par 72 Al Zorah Golf Club course features perfectly maintained fairways and greens, giving you the sensation of playing on a billiard table throughout the course.
The beauty of the location is undeniable, with breathtaking backdrops such as the grand mosque of Ajman, the city’s skyscrapers, or the expansive mangroves.
We tried Al Zorah during our stay at the Oberoi Al Zorah and were amazed by the unique gaming experience offered by this course.
Visitors to Al Zorah Golf Club can also enjoy a beautifully structured pavilion housing several restaurants, the pro shop, and locker rooms.
CULINARY EXPERIENCES
The restaurants and bars at the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah combine the best of international cuisine in a modern and refined design, harmonizing with the surrounding natural landscape.
Vinesse
The main restaurant, Vinesse, is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offering guests à la carte international cuisine in a relaxing setting with an elevated view of the resort’s infinity pool and the sea on the horizon.
The lunch and dinner menu is comprehensive without being excessive. You can indulge in a selection of Indian, Asian, Mediterranean, or local specialties. The sushi and sashimi section of the menu is freshly prepared by chefs right before your eyes at the sushi bar in the restaurant.
The rest of the kitchens have large windows that allow you to observe the chefs at work. For breakfast, Vinesse offers a hybrid concept with a combination of buffet and à la carte dishes freshly prepared by the chefs in the kitchen.
You can enjoy typical Indian and local breakfast dishes, such as grilled halloumi cheese, dim sum, or dosa (a thin Indian pancake) with its accompaniments. If you still prefer your Western-style breakfast, you won’t be disappointed, as the menu also includes a wide selection of eggs prepared to your liking, waffles, pancakes, and more.
A portion of the kitchens is also open to guests for the breakfast buffet at Vinesse.
Aquario
Aquario, the seafood restaurant near the beach at the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah, is a labyrinth of natural wooden bridges shaded by a pergola during the day and illuminated by candlelight at night. A romantic setting to watch sunsets from its terrace.
Inside, the selection of fresh seafood for the day is presented in a fish market-style display. You can then directly choose your lobsters, shrimp, crabs, and other catches of the day before asking the chefs, visible just behind in the kitchen, to prepare them according to your culinary preference.
The restaurant’s menu is well-balanced, featuring a decent representation of meat dishes as well as a few vegetarian options.
FINAL VERDICT
We left the Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah feeling peaceful, refreshed, and invigorated! A true haven of peace and tranquility, the hotel is the ideal place for couples to reconnect and enjoy an intimate stay in an exceptional setting.
